New Product Install: New Mid-Mount Gen III HEMI Front Accessory Drive – HEMI Swap Greatness!

New Product Install: New Mid-Mount Gen III HEMI Front Accessory Drive – HEMI Swap Greatness!

One of the most annoying and frustrating parts of any late-model engine swap can be fitting a bunch of accessories that never came in your car up front and in between the engine and radiator. Whether you realize it or not, almost all of the late model V8 cars are considerably larger than their previous counterparts. A new Challenger is bigger than a 1970 Challenger, for example, and so is the underhood space. These new cars are designed to fit around all the stuff that needs to be on these late model engines, and the older cars weren’t. Thankfully the gang at Holley has come up with the solution. Their new Mid Mount accessory drive system is a game-changer.

When Holley came out with accessory drive systems for the LS engine it made swapping one into just about anything much less of a headache, and now Mopar fanatics are going to benefit from the same technology. Their bracketless design means everything fits tight to the block minimizing any chance of interference between accessories and the chassis, body, etc.

Video Description:

Holley’s new Gen III Hemi Mid-Mount Accessory Drive Kits offers a simple, clean and reliable way to install all of the serpentine belt-driven accessories for your late-model Mopar engine onto our patent-pending bracket-less design. This allows the alternator, air conditioning pump, power steering pump, and everything else to be mounted tighter to the engine, making a Gen III Hemi swap an easier affair, regardless if you are using a VVT or non-VVT engine in your build! https://www.holley.com/products/engin…

New Cast Aluminum Bellhousings For All Chevrolet Engines, Straight From Lakewood

It makes me laugh that at no point in history has it been easier to put a stick shift into a car that didn’t come with one originally, while all the OEM domestic builders are phasing out stick shift cars in their new model lineups. I drive a stick car every day, but also own automatic cars, so I’m good either way. But if you are jonesing for the fun and excitement of rowing gears in your hot rod, street machine, or truck, it has never been easier. Pick you favorite transmission, and then order up a bellhousing from Lakewood. Since everyone doesn’t need an SFI rated race only bellhousing, Lakewood has come out with a new Cast Aluminum model for LS, Small Block, and Big Block Chevrolets. They will work with mechanical or hydraulic clutch linkage, and they are lightweight, strong, and complete with all hardware. And with a name like Lakewood, you know its a nice piece.

Besides hardware, it also comes with a clutch fork boot and dust shields for your application. Because the bellhousing isn’t SFI rated, it is lighter and more affordable that the red steel scatter shields that have made Lakewood famous for decades.

EFI With The Classic Looks Of A Carb? The New Terminator X Stealth 4500 And 4150 Allows You To Keep The Look But With EFI Tuneability

EFI With The Classic Looks Of A Carb? The New Terminator X Stealth 4500 And 4150 Allows You To Keep The Look But With EFI Tuneability

We ran a Holley Terminator Stealth throttle body injection setup on Daphne’s 1966 Bel Air Wagon, Ethyl, for years and loved it. The system allowed us to have two stages of dry nitrous, control the overdrive transmission, and get awesome mileage with daily driver reliability. It was great, and until we decided to run really big power with our new ProCharger it was the induction system on the car for years and tens of thousands of miles. I still have that system, and will undoubtedly install it on something else before too long, but had there been the new Terminator X version when we were in need of something, we most certainly would have gotten it. And the new Terminator X 4500 gives all the awesome visual impact of Holley’s epic Dominator Carburetor, but with increased tuning that will help make your nasty big block more drivable that ever. This is cool stuff.
